The Chapuis C135 & C140 are a great blend of CNC and hand finishing. The rounded actions are similar in shape to that of the Rizzini RB EM and RB EL etc., however it have the addition of hand engraving which can be specified to your tastes. If you appreciate hand engraving and like that bit of bling on the peg, the C135 or C140 are the over & under for you. If you question the value of having an hand engraved gun then the Chapuis Classic C35 or C40 is more to your taste. The monoblock is engineered in a way that it interlocks with a plate at the bottom of the action, similar to that found on the recently launched Caesar Guerini competition & Game Invictus model shotguns, Chapuis have been making an over & under gun like this for over 25 years.
The Artisan Super Orion C35 shotgun is a finely balanced upland gun, with a painstakingly detailed engraving in a tapestry wrap-around style. It offers a hand-contoured round action which gives a better wood-to-metal fit and has signed, deep-cut foliage accents with fine game scenes engraved on the action sides and bottom. The barrel length can be either 24 inch, 26 inch, 28 inch, 30 inch or 32 inch. This Chapuis Armes Artisan shotgun offers fixed chokes with optional interchangeable choke tubes and a double-trigger ‘Blitz’ battery. It has a AAAAA (Grade 5) luxury select walnut and chequered walnut buttplate, as well as a straight English style stock with elongated trigger plate and bordered trigger bow. The Super Orion C135 has a hand-rubbed oil finish and hand-cut ‘gunpowder’ checkering wrapped around the grip area. The average weight of this Chapuis Armes shotgun ranges from 2.6kg to 2.9kg depending on gauge and barrel length, and it comes in the new Prestige Chapuis Armes gun case.

It is a lightning-fast woodcock shotgun, with painstakingly detailed engraving in a tapestry wrap-around fashion and bottomless blueing on barrels. This enhances the quality of the luxury and makes the C140 a very robust shotgun in a timeless French style. This Chapuis Armes shotgun is hand-sculpted with signed, deep-cut foliage accents and game scene wraparound engraving on both the action sides and bottom. As well as the straight English-style AAAAA (Grade 5) luxury walnut stock, it also has a chequered walnut buttplate with optional pistol grip stock, elongated trigger plate and bordered trigger bow. This Chapuis Armes shotgun is oil finished by hand, with hand-cut ‘gunpowder’ checkering around the entire grip area. The barrel length of the C140 can be either 24 inch, 26 inch, 28 inch, 30 inch or 32 inch. It has fixed chokes with optional interchangeable choke tubes and the average weight varies from 2.6kg to 2.9kg depending on gauge and barrel length. Just like the Artisan C135, the C140 comes in the new Prestige Chapuis Armes gun casing.

Both the Chapuis C135 & C140 come with a complimentary gun fitting with W Horton & Sons. If you order a fitted gun from us you can also choose from a range of laser engraved scenes to be added to the sides and underside of the action. In addition to the stock and forend format, you can choose from either double or single (non selective) triggers. You can also choose from either coin finish or case hardened finish action.
